How does a CCTV system go together?

A CCTV system usually has five main components; the Cameras, the Recording System, the camera power supply, the cable connecting the camera to the recording system and the fittings to connect it all together.

Recording Systems

What kind of recording systems will I need?

Modern CCTV Systems record to either of two main systems, a DVR or a PC with a DVR Capture Card, which is often called a 'CCTV Server'.

Digital Video Recorder

	Reliable approved power supplies are essential. We stock 12V and 24V Power Supplies at 1, 3 and 5 Amp. Our cable range includes Coaxial RG-59 as well as Coaxial RG 59 complete with Power.
